6 Steps for Hotel Video Production
1) First contact 👋
At this stage, I gather all possible information about your hotel. What are the unique property features? What are your selling points? Who are your guests? Do you have press releases? Send it to me! It's never enough! The more information you give, the more diverse treatment you will receive from me on the next step!
2) The film treatment 🤩
It will take me a day or two to get back to you with the treatment. Usually, it's a PDF document with visual references, a shot list, a mood board, equipment, and the crew involved. Then I listen to all of your comments, suggestions, and ideas. Once it's all agreed upon, we arrange the Production date.
3) I’m filming your hotel 👍
Here I am at your hotel! I like to arrive earlier, to get familiar with the surroundings. I prefer to have more than less. Hence, I will film everything. So then during the edit, I have a wide variety of shots. Yet, from the excessive footage, I will cut tons of posts for your Instagram.
4) I’m editing your video ⏰
Once we've done with filming, I’ll start to edit it. During this time, I will cut clips into a movie, fix colours, stabilise shots, apply sound and perform other technical tasks. It probably will take a week until your hotel video is ready.
5) Your hotel film is ready 🛎
It's early morning, you've just switched on your PC and see an email from me. Hoorah! Your hotel video is ready. Any comments? I am open to revisions. I am here with you until your thumb-up.
6) Bonus 💥
After all, I will cut unused footage into mobile-friendly video clips and send them to you. So you don't worry about your Instagram content for another month or two. I’m also happy to help you with your social media.
