Introduction: In collaboration with InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) and their leading InterContinental Tverskaya hotel in Moscow, I created a hotel video that showcased their unique selling point - tailor-made concierge services. With InterContinental Hotels being renowned for their exceptional guest experience, it was a must to adhere to IHG's brand guidelines to ensure the hotel video aligned with their brand vision and served their marketing needs effectively.

Understanding the Importance of Brand Guidelines: As a leading hotel brand with thousands of daily visitors to its website, IHG's brand guidelines play a crucial role in maintaining a consistent image and delivering high-quality content. To showcase the hotel's tailor-made concierge services, each InterContinental hotel needs to have a Concierge video uploaded on the corporate website, reinforcing their commitment to personalized guest experiences.

Planning: Before commencing the project, I collaborated closely with the hotel's director of sales and marketing. I developed a film treatment and script to capture the hotel's ambience and unique services. I shared my recommendations and proposed a detailed timetable, enabling the hotel to coordinate internal preparations and achieve the best possible outcome during video production.

Video Narrative: The central idea behind the film was to take the audience on a journey with the hotel's concierge, and showcase the services that make the hotel unique. The video began with an introduction to the hotel, followed by a focus on the concierge's expertise in recommending the diverse activities in the city.

Production: The video production spanned two stages. On the first day, we filmed at the hotel to capture its inviting ambience and showcase the services available. The second day was dedicated to filming outside the hotel, allowing me to capture the city's vibrant atmosphere and the concierge's ability to create enriching experiences beyond the hotel's walls.

Adherence to Brand Guidelines: Throughout the production, strict adherence to IHG's brand guidelines was important. I ensured that the video maintained a consistent and polished look, aligning perfectly with the brand's identity. The video seamlessly integrated with IHG's marketing strategy and positively contributed to the hotel's online presence.

Success and Ongoing Collaboration: The final video was uploaded to the hotel's website, becoming an essential element of their online marketing efforts. The success of this project marked the beginning of a collaboration with InterContinental Hotel Group. Subsequently, I created more videos for other InterContinental hotels, including those in Edinburgh and London.
