Cross River Kwai

The brief
A design-led resort on the River Kwai — a film with the pace and energy of the place itself.
Cross River Kwai sits on the water in Kanchanaburi, its architecture drawn from the DNA of the region. The brief was a cinematic brand film for the website and social, carrying the resort’s nature and design and inspiring viewers to explore Kanchanaburi — with a set of stills and vertical cuts from the same shoot.
The approach
We built the film around a guest and the river — misty dawns on the water, kayaking and paddle-boarding, the design of the villas, the quiet of the early light — then graded it for energy and pace to match the resort’s confident, contemporary feel. Movement was motivated throughout: gliding interiors, a drifting boat at sunrise, the architecture revealed rather than listed.
