Shintana Saya, Siem Reap

The brief
A boutique retreat minutes from Angkor — a short film that earns its length.
Shintana Saya is a small resort in Siem Reap, close enough to the temples for sunrise and back before breakfast. The brief was a short, sharp film for the website and social — the pool, the welcome, and the reason everyone comes: Angkor, a few minutes away.
The approach
At twenty-two seconds, every shot has a job. The pool under its white umbrellas anchors the property; the lobby’s welcome carries the warmth; and the temples — stone lit by low sun, Angkor Wat at dusk — close the argument. Short-form discipline applied to a boutique brief.
The pool, anchored
White umbrellas and still water — the retreat in one frame.
The welcome
Staff and lobby carrying the property’s warmth.
Angkor closes it
The temples at first and last light — the reason to be here.
